Castle & Cooke and Highgate at Seven Oaks recently celebrated the Grand Opening of the Parkshire Pool & Pavilion, the newest addition to the Castle & Cooke master planned community of Highgate at Seven Oaks. Within the privacy gates of Highgate Park & Highgate Place this beautiful recreational amenity is available to all residents of Highgate at Seven Oaks. Included among the facility’s features are a resort-style swimming pool with lap lanes and spa, two pickleball courts, and a large outdoor fire pit.
Residents who attended the Grand Opening, hosted by Castle & Cooke, enjoyed getting together over food, drinks, and smores! Dinner was provided by Coconut Joe’s with specialty drinks by the Tap Truck. The event was an opportunity for residents of all the Highgate communities to socialize with neighbors they may not have met and a chance to catch up with others they may not have seen since the beginning of the pandemic. Along with the poolside dinner homeowners enjoyed live music from the TCB Band. Children could be seen laughing and dancing while parents lounged by the pool enjoying their night out under the palm trees.
Highlighting the evening were the smore’s kits that were available for each family to enjoy around the large fire pit. The fire pit can comfortably accommodate 10 people with some extra wiggle room for the kiddos, whose sticky fingers and big smiles were proof that the smore’s were the hit of the evening. “It’s exciting to see the community grow, and Parkshire is a beautiful addition to Highgate,” said Liz Herrera, Highgate Lifestyle Coordinator. “I love seeing all the new families moving in and look forward to welcoming them into the community!”
The Grand Opening of the Parkshire Pool & Pavilion was just a preview of what Highgate residents can expect in their new communities. Soon they will be enjoying summer pool parties for the kids, BBQ cookouts, picnics on the great lawn, pickleball games, and more. The only limit to life in Highgate is your imagination!
