And he brought some of it to Highgate at Seven Oaks recently for the annual Highgate Harvest Festival. It was non-stop fun for kids as they visited the petting zoo where they got to play with pigs, goats, bunny rabbits, sheep and chickens. There was a ten-foot-tall stilt walker, a magician doing magic tricks, lots of fun games and contests, a balloon animal artist, a juggler and of course face painting! There were even pony rides around the big Highgate Central Park. After all that fun people were getting hungry, so there was plenty to eat, too – popcorn, cotton candy, corn dogs, lemonade slushies and funnel cakes. I’m hungry and tired at the same time just thinking about it all!
Of course activities like this are just par for the course when you live in a Highgate at Seven Oaks community. Each season has their own special events, and plenty of others in between, too!
